Järven Health Care’s headquarters are located in Örnsköldsvik with production units in both Örnsköldsvik and Kinnarumma. All production takes place according to high quality standards.

OptiCell AB is founded. A term that has become an industry term for mattresses developed to provide the conditions for good hygiene. Although the Lentex mattress was born over 40 years ago, we believe it is still one of the best on the market.

OptiCell AB is founded. A Norwegian-Swedish collaboration for the development and sale of advanced mattress systems with manufacturing in Kinnarumma, Sweden. The products are marketed and distributed world-wide under the Järven Health Care brand.

Järven is founded by Inga Nordin after several years of research and development regarding water mattresses with the aim of preventing pressure ulcers. The research collaboration was carried out together with the University Hospital of Umeå's plastic surgery department and others.
