One pump, three systems, eleven mattresses

In healthcare, it can be difficult with all the machines and devices you are expected to handle. Especially when it comes to equipment you don't work with on a daily basis. That is why we have chosen to develop a pump that can be used regardless of the mattress the patient is lying on. We think that's smart.

OptiCell SMART comprises three series with a total of eleven different alternating air mattress system.
With the same pump you can control both bed mattresses and combination mattresses as well as replacement mattresses. Whatever your choice, the system has been developed to give you high quality and reliability along with high comfort.

Simple-to-use

In order to improve the efficiency of the care staff, time has been spent on developing an easy-to-use and intuitive panel. In addition, learning time is drastically reduced as the same pump is used regardless of the mattress. The pump has built-in features for convenience such as:

Automatic adjustment to the user's weight and position in bed.
Automatic return to normal mode after nursing mode.
Battery saves pump settings in case of power failure

Multi-Relief
options

Exposed body parts such as heels, elbows, etc. may sometimes need to be relieved completely. With OptiCell SMART, you can easily and quickly decouple individual cells without affecting the mattress's function. Each individual cell has a built-in check valve that can be released with a simple hand movement. The cell can then remain in the mattress case or be removed completely. This is useful when you want to check or replace a cell.

The cells are made of nylon or PU (polyurethane) and provide good comfort and pressure relief.

Alternating Low Pressure

Thanks to our Cell-on-Cell technology, we can allow heavier patients to sink down and be enveloped by the mattress without the risk of falling through. As the surface area lifting the patient increases, we can allow the pressure to remain at a low level.
We call this Alternating Low Pressure.

With OptiCell SMART, the patient is provided with a low back pressure regardless of user weight.

Alternating

Alternating mode means that the cells in an air mattress are alternately filled and emptied. A problem that can sometimes arise is that when the cells alternate, the user may feel that they are sinking down and then rising up again. This can easily lead to something similar to seasickness.

OptiCell SMART allows all switching to take place at the top - True Alternating - to reduce the risk of nausea.
